WHICH MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY TO CHOOSE FROM?

 

BLCC has 3 types of memberships:

 

Ÿ    Corporate Membership, priced at HK$8,000 per annum

Ÿ    Individual Membership, priced at HK$2,000 per annum

Ÿ    Young Professionals* (YP) Individual Membership, priced at HK$500 per annum

 

 *Age below 35 and join 3 years at most

WHO QUALIFIES? HOW TO JOIN?

 

Any businessman or woman, regardless of nationality, can apply to become a member.  Simply fill out the attached Membership Application Form and fax it to the BLCC.  Then, mail it together with your crossed cheque payable to “BLCC” to our office in North Point, Hong Kong, and add:

 

Ÿ    Your name card

Ÿ    Your color identity photo (either hard copy or soft copy in high resolution)

 

Pending approval from the Executive Committee, you become a member and as such:

 

Ÿ    Your e-mail address is automatically added to the BLCC mailing list and you receive all the invitations, information messages etc. from the Chamber

Ÿ    You receive one free copy of the last printed Directory

Ÿ    You and your spouse enjoy members’ price at any BLCC activity

Ÿ    You receive a Directory Data Collection form to fill in; once completed, your company’s details are uploaded on the website Directory.   It is a way to advertise your company’s profile for outsiders who don’t know you but are looking for the right business partner. 

 


 

WHAT AN ACTIVE MEMBER SHOULD DO? 

 

The Executive Committee members are all businessmen giving their time on a voluntary basis to organize events, represent the Chamber vis-a-vis local authorities or other business associations, make decisions, take action, in other words make the Chamber live.  

It is equally important that members participate actively in the life of the association.  Therefore, BLCC encourages its members to:

 

Ÿ    Regularly visit the website to know what is going on

Ÿ    Show their commitment by attending as much activities as possible

Ÿ    Share business information that could benefit other members

Ÿ    Inform the Chamber of their company developments and successes (e.g. material to write an  editorial to be posted on the website)

Ÿ    Support the organization by sponsorship
