WHO QUALIFIES? HOW TO JOIN?

Any businessman or woman, regardless of nationality, can apply to become a member.

Simply download the Membership Application Form from the website and fax it to the BLCC (+852 2866 3535).

Then, mail your crossed cheque payable to "BLCC" to Room 4, 1/F, Kodak House II, 321 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, together with:

  1. Your name card
  2. Your identity photo
  3. We will later send you a "Directory Data Collection form" for you to fill in so that we can upload your company details on our online website. Descriptions should not exceed 200 words and can be changed upon request at any time. It is a way to advertise your company's strengths and advantages for outsiders who don't know you but are looking for the right business partner.

Pending approval from the Executive Committee, you become a member and as such:

  1. You are automatically added to the website Directory
  2. You receive two free copies of the last printed Directory
  3. Your e-mail address is automatically added to the BLCC mailing list
  4. You and your spouse enjoy members'price at any BLCC activity

WHAT AN ACTIVE MEMBER SHOULD DO? 

The Executive Committee members are all businessmen giving their time on a voluntary basis to organise events, represent the members vis a vis the local authorities or other business associations, make decisions, take action, in other words make the chamber live.

It is equally important that members participate actively to the life of the association. Therefore, BLCC encourages its members to:

  1. Regularly visit the website to know what is going on
  2. Show their commitment by attending as much activities as possible
  3. Share business information that could benefit other members
  4. Inform the chamber of their company developments and successes (e.g. material to write an editorial to be posted on the website)
  5. Support the organization by sponsorship
