Nowadays, e-commerce represents a significant opportunity around the world, especially in China. Unlike brick-and-mortar stores, consumers are able to browse and purchase products online within a second owing to the rise of digital media and competitive online platforms. Therefore, it is essential to understand and make use of social media as an influential tool in order to achieve the business goal.
It is great to have Anson Bailey from KPMG to share the latest results of a number of KPMG e-commerce/online consumer reports released in January 2017 from over 18,500 online consumers. In addition, Mr. Giovanni Musillo from ZALORA and Mr. Terry Chan from Lazada, who is speaking on behalf of Board Committee of Hong Kong Federation of e-Commerce, will be there to share more stories.

Anson Bailey, Head of Consumer Markets, KPMG
Anson joined KPMG in Hong Kong in 1999 and is currently a Partner in the Hong Kong office heading up business development across the KPMG China Practice. He has undertaken strategic consulting roles and market assessments for multinational corporations in the region with experience in a wide range of sectors including retail, food and beverage, FMCG, sourcing, telecoms, media, consumer electronics, software, IT Outsourcing and other Technology sectors. He is responsible for a number of revenue programs focused on the key account program including Global and National accounts in the TMT sectors.
Terry Chan, Board Committee of Hong Kong Federation of e-Commerce
Terry Chan is General Manager, 3PL for Lazada Cross-Border (Alibaba Group) in Hong Kong. In this role, he is responsible for the management of the Cross-Border 3PL and focus on the development of Lazada Cross-Border Postal Solution in South East Asia by working with the postal organizations, customs and government authorities. Besides, he is appointed to be the Board Committee of Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce (HKFEC) – a voluntary work, it was established in 2015 as a non-profit organization to join professionals and Ecommerce companies together to share on a common platform with the latest news, technology and opportunities. The goal is to make Hong Kong a better place for E-commerce business.
Giovanni Musillo, Head of Acquisition, ZALORA
Giovanni Musillo heads the acquisition in ZALORA Hong Kong, leading the performance and the brand acquisition within the market. His scope of expertise encompasses managing Buying, Pricing, Online and Offline Marketing, Partnerships and Alliances, Product and IT System Development and Management. He joined ZALORA Malaysia in 2014. Prior to ZALORA, he served as an engineer at the center of research at University of Lipetsk (Russia).
